The unique shapes are created by placing raw clay dug from the mountains into a mold. The way the clay hardens and crumbles at each stage, and the firing method used, all affect the appearance of each piece, so no two pieces are ever the same. The shapes are cut out from nature in an ephemeral fashion, and carved out at random. They have a powerful presence that is reminiscent of majestic strata.
